Modern 2BR Northwood Home with Private Backyard

Positive: We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Check-in was easy, and the host was responsive and friendly throughout our trip. The location was perfect for exploring the area. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

We a had a very disappointing experience with this VRBO rental and would strongly advise others to think twice before booking.The cleanliness of the property was far below acceptable standards. There was visible dirt on nearly every wall, and the host acknowledged that the place needed to be repainted—which makes it clear this wasn’t just a minor cleaning oversight, but a deeper issue with maintenance. Cobwebs filled the corners throughout the home, and the window sills had layers of caked-on dirt that looked like they hadn’t been touched in a long time.Overall, the condition of the home felt neglected and poorly managed.What’s most frustrating is how misleading the listing photos are. You can’t see grime like that in photos, so people arrive at this place and most are stuck in this filth, since it’s too last minute to get another place to stay. This host appears to be irresponsible when it comes to maintaining their property and ensuring a basic level of cleanliness and functionality for guests. I would not stay here again.

The house looked exactly as pictured. Everything was clean and in good shape. Very comfortable, plenty of space, and a nice shower
